In-person or digital. Timely, competent, and hassle-free.

Salient Points for Discussion

What are the different types of doctor consultations Carefirst can help to arrange?

Carefirst makes doctor consultation hassle free. We simply speed up and deliver those doctor consultations at your home. If a physical examination is recommended, the doctor will visit your residence. If not, we will arrange for voice or video teleconsultation.

At Carefirst, we have an expert panel of doctors and specialists from about 20 medical departments. Depending on your medical condition, your treating doctor may refer you to see a specialist, or it can be your own decision to seek an opinion. We will arrange for the doctor’s or senior specialist’s phone or video appointment from our expert panel.

Apart from teleconsultation, there are situations where a doctor’s home visit is recommended, namely:

  • Routine medical check-ups where physical examination is necessary
  • Instances where the patient is not in a condition to visit the doctor
  • Non-medical factors (no escort, absence of mode of transport, infection risk, etc) which restrict patient’s movement.

We will arrange for a home visit with our resident doctor who will see the patient at his or her home.

When we buy a service from Carefirst, is doctor consultation included?

Doctor consultation is included as part of our Criticare (CCR), Post Hospitalisation Care (PHC) and Long Term Care (LTC) packages. Please refer to our Packages for details.

For all our other customers we will help fix appointments with available doctors on our expert panel. These are separately chargeable.

When we buy a home health care service from Carefirst, can we continue to consult our preferred specialist or doctor?

Yes, of course. Carefirst home healthcare services are complementary to your preferred specialist whom you are consulting with. In fact we will be keen to share regular patient updates with your preferred specialist on your recommendation.
