Samrat has 20+ years’ experience in building sustainable portfolios of business in the financial services and technology infrastructure industries. Prior to this entrepreneurial stint with Carefirst, he has served in markets like Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Indian sub-continent with a focus on client management and business development.

His previous managerial assignments were with HCL Tech, ICICI Lombard and Swiss Re in India and Asia Capital Re in Singapore. Samrat is a B Tech from NIT Jalandhar and MBA from IIM Lucknow.

Amitava has 18+ years’ experience in hospital and home healthcare management. In the beginning of his career, he has done managerial roles at hospitals in Bangalore and an entrepreneurial stint in running a chain of physiotherapy clinics. His last assignment before joining Carefirst was with Portea where he was Regional Head for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Amitava is certified as a Physiotherapist (Masters) and has completed Executive and PG certificate programs in Operations Management (IIM Calcutta), Sales and Distribution Management (IIT Kharagpur), Start-Up Policy (IIM Bangalore) and Service Marketing (IIM Bangalore).

Santhosh has 15+ years’ experience in operations of a wide cross-section of biomedical equipment manufactured by leading brands (OEMs). He has handled teams working on deployments in major cities across India. Before this stint in Carefirst, he had served as Biomedical operations manager for Portea in Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Chennai. He is among the few in India with hands-on experience of setting up fully-equipped ‘Home ICU’ at patients’ residences. Santhosh has curated reliable equipment vendors and developed a logistics channel capable of delivering under tight schedules and situations of supply crunch at favourable prices to the end-customer.

Praveen brings 20+ years of expertise in operations management with a strong focus on healthcare delivery. He began his career as a physiotherapist at HOSMAT Bangalore and later served as Operations Manager at Portea, gaining valuable experience in both clinical and operational aspects of healthcare. At Carefirst, he has played a pivotal role in growing our business in Bangalore and building our digital assets. His leadership emphasizes operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and sustainable growth.

Sangita has worked with Metropolis Healthcare Ltd, Franko Indian Pharmaceuticals & Indoco Remedies. She has also managed public-private partnerships in the development sector. At Carefirst, she leads the Mumbai operations with a focus on empathetic patient engagement, team mentoring, building reliable and good quality sources of frontline healthcare staff.

Prince has a B Tech and MBA from Amity University. He believes that quality healthcare at home must combine empathy, trust and personal touch. Prince has dedicated his career to building services that families can rely on during their most important times of need. At Carefirst, he is driving our growth in Delhi NCR through a team balanced in compassion and accountability across services like nursing, medical equipment and physiotherapy. Prince’s vision is simple: to make every patient family feel cared for, supported and at peace knowing their loved ones are in safe hands.

Prior to joining Carefirst, Monisha worked with Apollo Home Healthcare Chennai as Assistant Manager in Operations and Supply Chain Management. In this role, she successfully developed and managed a wide network of equipment vendors across India. Her vendor network delivered seamlessly even during the Covid pandemic of 2020-21. At Carefirst, Monisha leads our Chennai operations, bringing her strong expertise in healthcare delivery, operations, and vendor management to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient service execution.

Venu has 20+ years’ experience in treating patients at Home and various Hospitals in Bangalore and Hyderabad. He has been exposed to decision-making and team management roles for the last 5 years. Prior to joining Carefirst, he has served as City manager and operations manager for physiotherapy In Bangalore and Vijayawada for Portea. He has experience in engaging with treating doctors for better patient treatment outcomes and expanding service outreach through healthcare-delivery channel partners.

A certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Kaushik leads our business growth initiatives and client engagement to strengthen our leadership in the healthcare sector. He has held senior roles at Orange Cross, Merago (as a Founding Member), Portea Medical, Wockhardt, and Zuventus. Kaushik got his MBA from Bangalore University and has further honed his leadership skills through executive programs from IIM Indore and the National University of Singapore.

Ramesh began his career at Gleneagles Global Hospital Hyderabad, where he served as ICU In-charge and was later promoted to Nursing Supervisor, gaining seven years of valuable experience in hospital-based nursing management. He then expanded his expertise internationally by working for three years at Al-Razi Hospital Kuwait. At Carefirst, he leads our nursing division in Bangalore as Senior Manager, bringing a strong focus on clinical excellence, patient safety and team development.
